Job Summary:
We are seeking a decisive, action-oriented, and results-driven Senior Middleware Architect/Administrator with approximately 5 years of extensive experience in enterprise middleware technologies. This role demands deep expertise in installation, configuration, performance tuning, and high availability of middleware platforms. You will be instrumental in architecting and supporting scalable, secure, and highly available systems across the enterprise, with a focus on SOA, OBIEE, WebLogic, JBoss EAP, Apache, and Tomcat.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect, install, configure, and manage enterprise middleware platforms including Oracle WebLogic (11g/12c), SOA Suite, OBIEE, Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat, and JBoss EAP and OIC.
• Design and implement high availability (HA) and clustered environments for mission-critical applications.
• Optimize JVM memory settings, JDBC connection pools, and thread configurations to ensure application performance and stability.
• Integrate and configure middleware services with enterprise systems such as Active Directory (LDAP), and SSL-enabled environments.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and request flow designs for middleware applications ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Develop scripts and automation using WLST (Jython), Python, and Shell scripting for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Lead disaster recovery (DR) initiatives by building DR environments, ensuring parity with production, performing DR drills, and managing failover/failback activities.
• Apply and manage security patches across Fusion Middleware products, JBoss, WebLogic, and JDK environments.
• Participate in migration projects, upgrades, and performance tuning initiatives.
• Work closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and application support for issue resolution and system enhancements.
• Document system architecture, configuration changes, and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience in Middleware Administration and Architecture.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of SOA Suite, OBIEE, WebLogic (11g/12c), JBoss EAP, Tomcat, Apache.
• Strong understanding of clustering, load balancing, and high availability configurations.
• Experience with performance tuning, JVM optimization, JDBC, JMS, and security configurations.
• Scripting proficiency with WLST, Python, and Shell.
• Experience in building and managing disaster recovery setups.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with relevant certification (OCI Architect Associate preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts and best practices
