KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Managing daily activities related to ECC section and provides supervising and coaching to solve escalated issues.
  • Liaising with management, supervisors, team leaders, operatives, and third parties to gather information and resolve issues
  • Monitoring random calls and initiated workflows to improve quality, to minimize errors liaising track operative performance
  • Assists the Engineering Control Centre Head to update policies, Business Continuity Plan, and SOPs as needed, ensuring that the new or updated guidelines are clearly understood and communicated with ECC staff.
  • Preparation of management and analytical reports in such daily, and monthly ECC reports based on logged incidents, including irregularities & emergencies, delays, stakeholders complaints/feedback, etc. Documents significant events and actions during shift and maintains records.
  • Monitoring the Logging of incident and assessing it against the following, timely input, follow-ups on rectification of pending incidents on daily basis and auditing randomly the incidents logged to verify its input is properly logged including labour, material and timing as per quality assurance.
  • Managing and monitoring SCADA system for HV/LV electrical networks to track real-time status and detect faults, generating faults reports and conducting case studies to support troubleshooting and maintain stable electrical network.
  • Compliance with electrical safety standards and uninterrupted power supply.
  • Managing and monitoring HVTS by tracking maintenance and cleaning requests, as well as other related work requests, responding to elevator intercom calls, generating faults reports, and conducting case studies to support troubleshooting and maintain safe operation.
  • Managing and monitoring PLB system by tracking reported issues and faults to ensure bridges remain operational and safe for use, generating faults reports and conducting case studies to support troubleshooting and improve system reliability.
  • Managing and monitoring CCTV system to support a safe working environment and assist in identifying issues with assets or operations, overseeing key areas such as elevators, technical rooms, and substations, etc.
  • Managing and monitoring the Fire Alarm System by identifying and reporting faults on components such as smoke detectors, beams, and panels, and coordinating with the Fire Command Center (FCC) for necessary action; generating faults reports and conducting case studies to support troubleshooting and strengthen safety measures.
  • Managing and monitoring the BMS with its integrated systems to keep building assets such as lighting, elevators, escalators, travellators, chillers, and HVAC running properly, generating faults reports and conducting case studies to support troubleshooting, and ensure stable performance.
  • Managing and controlling the lighting system by scheduling and switching lights on/off during preventive maintenance or the replacement of faulty units; generating reports and conducting case studies to support efforts in reducing energy consumption and costs through review of the lighting lifecycle.
  • Managing and monitoring ECBS System by tracking battery status, performance, and alarms, generating faults reports and conducting case studies to support troubleshooting and ensure reliable operation during emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and risk management practices at the CUC Building through regular inspections to prevent incidents of non-compliance or unsafe practices, such as electrical hazards and unsafe operation or maintenance of critical assets including chillers, generators, pump rooms, electrical panels, and associated systems—and report any findings to the concerned asset owner.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE:

MinimumQualification: Bachelor's degree in electrical/ Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

MinimumExperience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in managing engineering control centres, particularly in an airport or similar environment
