Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing of floors, surfaces, and furniture.
  • Empty trash bins, dispose of waste properly, and replace liners as needed.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels), and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
  • Follow procedures for the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying the supervisor of any stock shortages or equipment malfunctions.
  • Conduct regular cleaning of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and break rooms, ensuring they are presentable and orderly.
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners as necessary.
  • Respond to any additional cleaning tasks requested by the supervisor or facility manager in a timely manner.
