Key Roles & Responsibilities
Experience using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger to test and troubleshoot REST/SOAP APIs.
Familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, Oracle Data Integrator, or Microsoft SSIS, particularly for banking/reporting environments.
Strong hands-on experience with tools such as SQL Developer, Toad, or DBeaver for complex queries, debugging, and optimization.
Ability to write shell scripts (Bash, PowerShell) to automate operational tasks and deployments.
Understanding of IT service management best practices (incidents, problems, changes, and service delivery).
Provide ongoing support for system and application configuration, software upgrades, vulnerability management, and incident resolution in coordination with application vendors.
Actively participate in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
Serve as a systems analyst for business-related requests by evaluating needs, identifying solutions, and supporting implementation.
Deliver end-user support for core and auxiliary applications, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted business operations.
Contribute to the testing, and periodic review of disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans to ensure operational resiliency.
Customize, configure, and maintain system environments, and application frameworks.
Basic knowledge of securing systems and applications, managing patches, and responding to vulnerabilities.
Evaluate and test new application versions, patches, and enhancements, and manage their transition through staging to production.
Provide support for banking systems such as Core Banking, Mobile Banking, Payments, ATM, and Data Warehouse, including regular monitoring and performance optimization.
Log and manage user-reported issues using a support ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
Support the generation and reconciliation of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual IT reports and system outputs.
Serve as a backup IT operator in the absence of the primary operations staff, ensuring continuity of scheduled tasks and system monitoring.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support, operations, or application administration role.
Preferred knowledge of banking systems and environments including Core Banking, Mobile Banking, Payments, ATM networks, and Data Warehouse systems.
Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, XML, and scripting for systems management.
Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems, server infrastructure, and foundational IT security practices.
Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
