Job Purpose:

To supervise, coordinate, and ensure the efficient execution of MEP works in construction projects, with a focus on HVAC and AC systems, as well as general maintenance. Responsible for installation, testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance while ensuring quality, safety, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:1. Supervision & Execution

  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and AC systems on construction sites.
  • Oversee overall MEP operations including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Ensure work is executed according to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Monitor daily site activities, work progress, and workforce productivity.

2. AC & HVAC Maintenance

  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of AC/HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system faults promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain logs, reports, and documentation for all maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors for spares, technical support, and service contracts.

3. Team & Contractor Management

  • Supervise MEP technicians, maintenance staff, and subcontractors on site.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to team members.
  • Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with on-site safety regulations.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and testing activities.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
  • Ensure proper documentation for warranties, service agreements, and compliance certificates.

5. Coordination & Compliance

  • Liaise with project engineers, architects, and consultants for smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Assist in resource planning, budgeting, and procurement for MEP and AC works.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience as MEP Supervisor with a strong background in AC/HVAC and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and MEP drawings.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, local regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
