Al Ghalia was established in 1997, with over two decades of expansive experience and a number of successful ventures. It continues to develop and grow iconic concepts, including Cafe Lilou, Monsoon and Fatto, with five divisions spanning hospitality, lifestyle, farming, retail and construction, expanding throughout Bahrain and within the gulf region.

With eight bespoke eateries located across Bahrain and Saudi Arabia's finest restaurant districts, each with its distinct character and authentic air.

Al Ghalia, through its Hospitality division, operates a number of well-known restaurants primarily in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. These include:

• Café Lilou: Reminiscent of a 19th-century Parisian brasserie, offering an eclectic and comprehensive menu.

• Lilou Artisan Pâtisserie: Dedicated to enriching events and gatherings with a wide range of pastries and catering services.

• Monsoon: A destination for authentic Far Eastern cuisine, featuring Thai, Japanese, and Vietnamese dishes in a traditional Asian setting.

• Fatto: A Trattoria and Pizzeria inspired by traditional Italian flour factories, focusing on comfort foods with a rustic approach.

• Jack's: Al Ghalia's take on an elevated fast-food eatery, serving burgers, pizza, pasta, and desserts with a mindful twist (using fresh ingredients, free from chemicals/preservatives).

• Ben's Cookies: Offers a variety of cookies.

• Lumee Street: Features exciting flavors from Bahrain and the Gulf region.

• BIBA: Embodies a spirit of social dining, reminiscent of a welcoming figure from Middle Eastern or North African villages.

• Fish Market: Overlooking the Arabian Sea, offering an extensive selection of fresh seafood prepared in various styles.

• Mei Ling: Pays homage to Imperial Chinese flavors and techniques with a modern flair, located in Adliya.

• FYR: (Launched December 2024) An elevated flame-grilled dining experience specializing in wood and charcoal-grilled meats, burgers, and flavorful sides.

Requirements:

-BS Degree in Culinary Science or related certificate preferred, or excellent strong culinary experience.

-6-8 years kitchen experience in culinary/ kitchen management experience.

-Previous Central Kitchen, Hotel, Restaurant experience is desirable.

-Thorough knowledge and understanding of kitchen equipment use and operation.

-Very passionate about his/her work, self-motivated and creative problem solver.

-Extensive food and beverage knowledge.

-Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

-Team-working skills: ability to work alone or as part of a team.

-Excellent leadership skills and business orientation.

-Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.

-Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

-Ability to remain calm during busy periods.
