Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Joinery Draftsman, based in Bahrain. The Joinery Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for joinery and furniture projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with the design and production teams, reviewing project requirements, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and providing accurate design specifications. The role involves producing 2D and 3D drafts, resolving design-related queries, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and other design tools for producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings.
  • Strong understanding of material selection, joinery techniques, and construction methods for furniture and interior fit-outs.
  • Attention to detail, ability to analyze technical drawings, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with design, production, and client teams.
  • Experience managing design revisions and ensuring projects comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Bachelor's diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related fields; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Previous work experience in joinery drafting or interior design projects is highly advantageous.
