JOB PURPOSE

The role of Senior Analyst - Digital Platforms (UX/UI Designer) will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive user experiences for the groups digital platforms.

The role will include designing user interfaces, developing and maintaining web applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user satisfaction and business goals.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Technical Responsibilities:

1.Design and Development:

  • Design and implement user-friendly web pages and apps, focusing on aesthetics and usability.
  • Develop responsive design and ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

2.User Experience:

  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance the usability of the products.

3.Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative ideas and solutions.

4.Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct testing of completed applications, websites, and software to assess user experience.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).

5.Maintenance and Upgrades:

  • Maintain and update websites and applications regularly.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in UI/UX design and web development.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Qualification with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, or a related field.
  • Knowledgeable in server-side programming languages ( for e.g PHP, Python), Content Management Systems ( for e.g WordPress), & Adobe Creative Suite ( for e.g Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • 4+ years of experience in related field.
