We are currently looking for an Accountant to be based in Bahrain.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivableProduce error-free periodic accounting reports and present their resultsPerform internal audits and resolving discrepancies  Analyze financial information and summarize financial statusSpot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spendingProvide technical support and advice on Management AccountantReview and recommend modifications to accounting systems and proceduresManage accounting assistants and bookkeepersParticipate in financial standards setting and in forecast processProvide input into department's goal setting processPrepare financial statements and produce budget according to scheduleAssist with tax audits and tax returnsDirect internal and external audits to ensure complianceDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsLiaise with our CFO to improve financial proceduresQualification & Requirements:
Bachelors' degree in Accounting3+ years' experience as an AccountantAdvanced MS Excel skillsHave an understanding of local VAT regulationHands-on experience with accounting software packagesExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesProficient in MS OfficeAn analytical mind with problem-solving skills
