  • Assists with staff hiring, supervision, scheduling, training and development
  • Ensures all relevant policies and employment practices are followed in banquet and F&B departments
  • Assists with purchasing produce, meats, poultry, fish and seafood, supplies, beverages, and equipment
  • Assists in receiving and checking all F&B orders to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications
  • Helps supervise inventories
  • Helps supervise the cleaning and maintenance of F&B facilities and equipment
  • Assists in investigating and resolving any food quality or service complaints
  • Regularly inspects all F&B outlets and storage areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are met
  • Assists in monitoring F&B budgets and controlling labor and food/beverage costs
  • Stays informed of and communicate special requests or last-minute changes that will affect either the food production or service for an event
  • Maintains knowledge of local competition and general industry trends
  • Be knowledgeable about the duties and responsibilities of all F&B positions; be able to fill in wherever and whenever needed
  • Solicits feedback from customers on a regular basis
  • Conductsdaily briefings for the F&B department
  • Supervises the restaurant floor during peak times to ensure guest satisfaction and staff support
  • Other responsibilities or projects as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager
