Located in the business and leisure hub of the city, InterContinental Bahrain offers its guests the perfect location from where to explore the exciting face of Manama. The hotel offers 304 spacious rooms including 4 club floors and 36 luxurious suites. Each room is designed to meet the needs and the expectations of the modern traveler. A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different at IHG, but you'll mostly be:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed
  • Handle guest concerns and react accordingly, logging and notifying the proper areas and complying with company's code of conduct
  • Assist with the preparation of efficient departmental work schedules
  • Actively participate in daily briefing, daily warm up and department meetings as well as contribute to on the job training and maintain records of the colleagues
  • Ensure Room Attendants are informed daily about priorities in their section
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures
  • Report necessary maintenance items to the Engineering department
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies

What we need from you

  • At least 2-year experience working in a 5-star hotel industry in a Housekeeping environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to details
  • Flexible attitude to shifts – you may be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera
