The Quality Engineer at Technoline Mechanical & Instrumentation W.L.L (TMI) is responsible for ensuring that all services, repairs, overhauls, and supply of spare parts meet the highest quality standards in compliance with industry codes, client requirements, and TMI's internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities

·      Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance systems and procedures for mechanical, instrumentation, and industrial services.

·      Conduct inspection and testing of valves, actuators, and instrumentation equipment to ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and client standards.

·      Oversee hydrostatic, pneumatic, and functional performance testing of valves and related equipment.

·      Prepare and maintain Quality Control documentation such as ITPs, WPS, PQRs, and test reports.

·      Coordinate with clients and third-party inspection agencies during FAT, SAT, and in-process inspections.

·      Ensure traceability and certification of spare parts supplied through TMI's network of genuine suppliers.

·      Monitor calibration of test instruments and tools used in inspection and testing activities.

·      Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action for non-conformities and failures.

·      Support project execution teams during shutdowns, turnarounds, and maintenance activities with quality control supervision.

·      Assist in internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.

Key Skills & Competencies

·      Knowledge of API, ASME, ISO, and other international quality standards.

·      Hands-on experience in valve inspection, calibration, and testing procedures.

·      Familiarity with NDT methods and inspection tools.

·      Ability to prepare technical reports and quality documentation.

·      Good communication skills for client and third-party coordination.

·      Problem-solving skills with focus on root cause analysis and corrective actions.

·      Proficiency in MS Office and other related tools

Qualifications

·      Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering or related field.

·      Minimum 2 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in oil & gas or industrial service sector.

·      Knowledge of valve overhauling, instrumentation calibration, and industrial maintenance practices.

  • Certification in ISO 9001:2015 QMS Lead Auditor is an advantage.
