The Financial Analyst will support the Finance Department in preparing financial reports, analyzing business performance, evaluating investments, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all financial processes.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
  • Support the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Analyze financial trends and business performance across different entities.

Financial Modelling & Reporting:

  • Build and maintain financial models to assess business opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Prepare management dashboards and KPI reports for senior leadership.
  • Support scenario and sensitivity analysis, and profitability studies.

Cost Analysis & Performance Tracking:

  • Perform cost analysis related to production, raw materials, operational expenses, and supply chain activities.
  • Coordinate with Productions, Procurement, and HR to validate cost structures and improve accuracy.
  • Track key cost drivers and recommend corrective measures for variances.

Business Partnering:

  • Work closely with department heads (Productions, Planning, Sales, HR, Supply Chain, Projects) to provide financial insights.
  • Support pricing decisions, customer profitability analysis, and commercial evaluations.
  • Assist in preparing materials for Board meetings and executive reporting.

Investment & Project Evaluation:

  • Conduct feasibility studies and ROI assessments for new projects and capital investments.
  • Coordinate with Project and Engineering teams to monitor financial performance of ongoing projects.
  • Evaluate financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Compliance & Audit Support:

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, IFRS standards, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Assist auditors by providing financial data and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate reconciliations, schedules, and financial records.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance system efficiency.
  • Support ERP enhancements (Oracle) and implement automation improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications preferred: CFA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA.
  • 3–7 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or investment analysis; experience in manufacturing or multinational environments is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling (Excel) and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics).
  • Knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
  • Advanced MS Excel and Power BI skills (preferred).
