Job Description:

Euro Group Engineering Consultancy is seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer for a 24-month infrastructure project in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in infrastructure projects, particularly focusing on bridges, highway roads, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are executed according to design, budget, and schedule.
  • Maintain strong onsite presence, oversee construction staff, and ensure compliance with engineering principles and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and local authorities, to ensure effective coordination and communication.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team in infrastructure development including bridges and highway roads.
  • Review engineering plans and specifications, making recommendations for improvements or adjustments when necessary.
  • Ensure quality control and project execution meet the highest standards of technical and safety requirements.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and present reports on project progress, quality, and performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • More than 16 years of professional engineering experience, with a strong focus on infrastructure projects such as bridges, highways, and associated services.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and execution of large-scale engineering projects.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and coordinating large teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of engineering software and tools.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
