ELV Technician

JOB INTRODUCTION

We are looking for a Technician for our Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Division . Reporting to the Project Manager.

The successful candidate will be Responsible for the commissioning and installation of cables and electronic equipments as per the instructions of Senior Technicians, while promote Occupational Health & Safety awareness and culture throughout the organization.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for installation, programming, testing and commissioning of IPCCTV, Access control, fire alarm, Intrusion detection, PIDS, MIDS, all kinds of ELV systems and Fire safety system (firefighting and fire suppression) in compliance with design specification, technical codes and safe codes.
• Responsible for installation of Network infrastructure of all kinds of systems (structural cabling)
• Responsible for making build diagrams / drawings as and when required (AutoCAD format or windows Visio)
• Responsible for conducting site surveys as and when required.
• Rectify complicated technical issues at site in related to system integration and software related projects.
• Resolve all kinds of technical issues related to ELV industry.
• Provide daily progress reports to superior / line manager about the sites related issues and work progress at site in timely manner.
• Develop good relationship with clients and employees.
• Handles customer complaints in timely manner
• Any other work assign by the superior from time to time

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

• Must have at least 3 years of technical experience.
• Degree/ Diploma in Electronics and communication / Electrical and Electronics from a recognized institute.
• Enthusiastic in learning new technologies and keep updates of latest market trends
• Possess reasonable written and oral English communication skill.
• Possess appropriate computer skill (Auto CAD/ Visio)
