Position: Accounts Executive

Location: Manama, Bahrain

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reports To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager

We are looking for an Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support the Finance team with accurate record-keeping, reporting, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations including entries, reconciliations, and documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Prepare invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, and receipts.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain petty cash.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and clients regarding payment and billing queries.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
  • Assist auditors during internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with local taxation, VAT regulations, and financial controls.
  • Maintain high levels of confidentiality and accuracy in all financial tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in Bahrain or GCC).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Tally / QuickBooks / ERP preferred).
  • Good understanding of VAT laws in Bahrain.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
