QA/QC Engineer

Job Description
Conduct routine site inspections to verify the quality of construction activities, including post-tensioning, Structural Repair & Strengthening, and geotechnical works.
Inspect materials, workmanship, and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and adhere to method statements.
Identify discrepancies, defects, or non-compliance during inspections, and document findings with clear descriptions and photographs.
Report identified issues and assist in tracking their resolution.
Monitor the proper application of repair, strengthening, post-tensioning methods, and geotechnical activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality procedures.
Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports, documenting observed issues, corrective actions taken, and photographic evidence of work quality.
Maintain organized records for inspections, materials certifications, test results, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Provide regular updates to the QA/QC Manager regarding site conditions, issues found, and the status of corrective actions.
Assist in documenting any changes in work methods, materials, or processes and ensure they are properly recorded and compliant with project standards.
Ensure all inspection reports are completed accurately, signed off, and stored for easy retrieval.
Assist in documenting the corrective actions taken in response to identified quality issues.
Identify and document non-conformances (NCRs) observed during site visits, including quality, safety, or regulatory issues.
Complete NCR forms with full descriptions, photo documentation, and potential corrective actions.
Assist in tracking the resolution of NCRs and ensuring that corrective actions are implemented and verified.
Work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and engineers to resolve identified quality issues and ensure compliance with quality control standards.
Communicate inspection findings effectively to the site team and other stakeholders, including contractors, engineers.
Assist in monitoring construction quality throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring work is completed per design specifications and regulations.
Help prepare for external audits or client inspections, providing documentation and reports related to quality issues.
Ensure that quality control documentation, such as inspection logs, NCRs, material certifications, and test results, is complete and up-to-date.
Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineer
3 Years experience in Construction
