Barista cum Cashier

Position: Barista

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure consistent quality in every cup by properly calibrating equipment, monitoring brewing parameters, and practicing latte art techniques
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly and efficient service
• Educate customers about our coffee offerings, brewing methods, and seasonal specials
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the coffee preparation area, including equipment maintenance and sanitization
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and uphold our commitment to excellence

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred
• Strong knowledge of coffee types, origins, and preparation methods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
