Key Responsibilities
1. Multi-Entity Leadership & IT Operations:
- Manage, mentor, and develop the IT staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement across the company.
- Delegate tasks effectively, assigning responsibilities based on team members' skills and the specific needs of the three businesses.
- Oversee the entire networking infrastructure for all locations, ensuring robust and secure interconnectivity.
- Develop and implement unified strategies to enhance and improve all IT operations.
2. Odoo ERP Management & Optimization:
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Odoo ERP instances, managing data, users, and processes for all three businesses.
- Plan and execute configurations, customizations, and enhancements in Odoo to meet the shared and unique needs of each business unit.
- Perform complex data operations across multiple company datasets.
- Proactively analyze cross-business processes to identify and implement efficiency gains within Odoo.
3. End-User Support & Enablement:
- Act as the central point of contact for all employees across the three businesses, providing timely and effective assistance for all IT needs.
- Develop and deliver training programs to empower users in Odoo, Microsoft 365, and other key applications.
- Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel and VBA macro skills to build powerful tools for data analysis and reporting, assisting all departments in enhancing their operational capabilities.
4. Infrastructure, Security & Vendor Management:
- Manage the Company's entire IT infrastructure, including Microsoft 365 tenants, domains, websites, and all company devices.
- Serve as the primary project manager and point of contact for all technology vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring service delivery meets the needs of the entire business.
- Implement and enforce group-wide IT security policies, including device management, access controls, and monitoring for breaches or faults.
- Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets and major incidents from all business units, with the ability to be on-call for critical system outages.
5. Strategic Group-Wide Planning:
- Utilize critical and creative thinking to anticipate the technological needs of the business, both for the present and the future.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive strategic technology roadmap that aligns with the goals of all three businesses.
- Partner with department heads from each business to design and implement efficient, standardized operational procedures where possible, while allowing for necessary customization.
