Job Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the hotel's engineering and maintenance operations. This role ensures that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and civil systems operate efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Supervisor leads the maintenance team, coordinates repair works, and supports preventive maintenance programs to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:Operations & Maintenance
- Supervise daily maintenance operations across all hotel facilities, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and building systems.
- Ensure all preventive maintenance and repair tasks are completed on schedule and in line with brand standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns to minimize disruption to guests and operations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
Team Management & Leadership
- Supervise, coach, and motivate the engineering and maintenance team to deliver high-quality service.
- Assign and monitor daily tasks, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Support training and development of team members to build technical skills and performance.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a proactive work culture within the department.
Project & Asset Management
- Support in planning and executing renovation, repair, and upgrade projects.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure work meets hotel quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
- Report recurring technical issues or major repair needs to the Director of Engineering.
Guest Service & Quality Assurance
- Ensure prompt, professional response to guest maintenance requests.
- Maintain the highest standards of appearance, functionality, and safety in guest rooms and public areas.
- Perform regular walkthroughs of hotel facilities to ensure all areas meet operational standards.
Financial & Administrative Duties
- Assist in monitoring departmental expenses, maintenance supplies, and energy consumption.
- Support sustainability and energy-saving initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, checklists, and reports for management review.

- Communicates clearly with management and staff on maintenance priorities and progress.
