Role : Business Analyst - Risk / Risk Analyst

Work Location: Bahrain

Experience - 3-5 years

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of risk management experience, preferably in the financial services or Banking sector with knowledge of CBB regulations.

Responsibilities:

Conducted thorough evaluation of business and financial records to assess risk profiles.
• Monitor and manage exposures, ensuring adherence to risk limits and communicated findings to business heads for proactive decision-making.
• Prepare and analyze Management Information System (MIS) reports for group and regional management, encompassing all subsidiaries and associates.
• Reviewe and update Risk Appetite Statements in collaboration with the Risk Group Head, aligning with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with central bank regulations by reviewing risk policies and recommending necessary amendments.
• Liaised with business leaders to comprehend their data needs, facilitating informed decision-making.
• Transformed raw data into actionable insights through advanced analysis and interpretation techniques.
• Responded to enquiries and provided consultation for regulators, senior management, and rating agencies.
• Spearheaded the automation of MIS and other reporting processes, working closely with IT and transformation teams.
