Jr Quntity Surveyor

Job Description

• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
• Support in developing preliminary cost estimates and budgets under supervision.
• Track and report project costs to ensure alignment with budget expectations.
• Aid in the preparation and evaluation of variations and change orders.
• Assist in interim and final valuations and reports.
• Coordinate with senior quantity surveyors, project managers, and site teams.
• Help ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Support the processing of contractor claims and documentation.
• Assist in the calculation of material requirements at various stages.
• Monitor project milestones and update work progress records.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects (internships or training experience considered).
• Basic understanding of construction processes and materials.
• Familiarity with quantity surveying tools/software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, WinQS, or similar).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Keen attention to detail with willingness to learn and grow.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
