Project Manager (Solar)

About the Role

We're looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented
Project Manager
to lead the delivery of utility-scale solar power projects (50 MW+). The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, hands-on project experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure quality, safety, and performance across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities


• Manage the full lifecycle of solar PV projects from planning and engineering to construction, commissioning, and handover


• Coordinate project activities across engineering, procurement, and construction teams


• Review and approve design packages, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and vendor submittals


• Oversee site execution, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, HSE standards, and quality requirements


• Plan project timelines, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions when needed


• Interface with clients, consultants, contractors, utilities, and regulatory authorities for approvals and coordination


• Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, and performance reviews


• Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and ensure alignment with contractual obligations


• Support procurement and vendor selection through technical evaluations and cost analysis


• Drive efficient project delivery within budget and schedule constraints

Qualifications and Experience


• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or related discipline)


• Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale solar PV projects (50 MW+)


• Strong technical understanding of PV system design, LV/MV electrical infrastructure, and civil interfaces


• Familiarity with design and simulation tools such as AutoCAD and PVSyst


• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera


• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills


• Strong communication and coordination abilities across multidisciplinary teams


• Professional certifications such as PMP or Solar PV Installer are advantageous


• Willingness to move to project sites as required
