Role Description

To assess, evaluate, and validate vehicle/component repair claims under the extended warranty program by conducting technical inspections, reviewing repair documentation, and ensuring compliance with warranty policies, manufacturer standards, and company procedures. The role ensures accurate technical judgement, cost control, and customer satisfaction through professional claim handling and technical integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site inspections of vehicles/components to verify failure cause, repair quality, and eligibility under extended warranty coverage.
  • Approve, adjust, or reject claims based on inspection findings and manufacturer standards.
  • Ensure that repair estimates and invoices reflect accurate parts pricing, labor times, and standard procedures.
  • Prepare periodic reports on claim volumes, costs, failure trends, and technical observations.

Education & Experience:

  • Education:
    Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical or automotive engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
  • Experience:
    Minimum 3–5 years in automotive service, warranty administration, or technical inspection.
