About Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain
Located on the pristine beaches of Bahrain's West Coast, the resort features stunning ocean views, verdant greenery, and meandering waterways with modern, spacious rooms and suites as well as an exclusive Gulf Summer House, located directly on the beach. About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Engineering to join Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain.
· Develop and communicate strategic vision, goals, and objectives in alignment with the overall business strategy.
· Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
· Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
· Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, effectively to support project priorities and meet organizational goals.
· Provide technical direction and guidance, ensuring the use of best practices, methodologies, and technologies to drive innovation and achieve technical excellence.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
· Certificate in project management
· A bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical or HVAC Engineering or any other relevant field
· Educated to degree-level or above in a relevant discipline with appropriate professional qualifications and up to date professional knowledge
· Preferably a master's degree in mechanical, Electrical or HVAC Engineering or any other relevant field
