Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes.
  • Ensure all food safety standards are met by maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
  • Package baked goods for catering orders or retail display, ensuring quality and freshness.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new dessert recipes and menu items.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with guests regarding pastry selections.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
  • Proficiency in cake decorating techniques and an understanding of various baking methods.
  • Experience in catering or high-volume food production is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A passion for baking and creating delicious desserts that delight customers.
