Data Analyst

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analystto join our team and play a pivotal role in driving data -informed decisions forour auction e -commerce app. The ideal candidate will be responsible forstreamlining our data processes, generating insightful reports, and leveragingvarious analytics platforms to optimize user experience, increase revenue, andenhance overall business performance. This role requires a strong analyticalmindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to translatecomplex data into actionable insights. Qualifications/certifications/skillset :• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics,Computer Science, or a related field.• 3 -5 years of experience in a data analyst role, preferablywithin the e -commerce industry.• Proven experience with web and mobile analytics platformssuch as Google Analytics, Firebase, and Mixpanel.• Proficiency in data management platforms like Segment.• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools, particularlyPower BI.• Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts.• Excellent analytical and problem -solving skills with akeen attention to detail.• Strong communication and presentation skills, with theability to convey complex findings to both technical and non -technicalaudiences.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in afast -paced environment.• Experience with auction platforms or marketplaces is aplus. Responsibilities and Deliverables:• Collaborate with cross -functional teams (e.g., product,marketing, operations) to understand their data needs and translate them intoactionable analysis and reporting.• Streamline existing data requirements and processes toimprove data quality, accuracy, and efficiency.• Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reportsin Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insightsinto business performance. Function / Department• Utilize Mixpanel to analyze user behavior, identifytrends, and provide insights for optimizing user experience and engagementwithin the auction app.• Implement and manage data tracking and segmentation usingSegment to ensure accurate and consistent data collection across platforms.• Conduct in -depth analysis of auction data, includingbidding patterns, pricing trends, and user behavior, to identify opportunitiesfor revenue growth and process improvement.• Perform ad -hoc analysis to answer specific businessquestions and provide timely insights to stakeholders.• Monitor data quality and identify data integrity issues,working with the data engineering team to implement solutions.• Stay up -to -date with the latest trends and technologies indata analysis and e -commerce.• Contribute to the development of data -driven strategies toachieve business objectives.Objectives and key results (OKR):• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across allplatforms.• Provide clear, concise, and actionable insights that drivebusiness decisions and lead to measurable improvements.• Develop and maintain insightful and user -friendly reportsand dashboards in Power BI.• Deliver a comprehensive understanding of user behaviorwithin the auction app through Mixpanel analysis.• Recommend data -driven improvements to streamlineoperations and increase efficiency.• Foster a data -driven culture within the organization byproviding stakeholders with the information they need to make informeddecisions. Key Performance Indicators (KPI):• Build reporting for user engagement metrics (e.g., sessionduration, page views, time spent per auction).• Build reporting for conversion rates (e.g., percentage ofregistered users who participate in auctions, percentage of bids that lead tosuccessful purchases).• Build reporting for growth in auction participation (e.g.,number of bids per auction, number of active bidders).• Build reporting for Supply Funnels.• Build Reporting for New Users & Retention.• Accuracy and timeliness of reports and dashboards.• Number of actionable insights provided and implemented.• Impact of data -driven recommendations on key businessmetrics.
