Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong expertise in the Steel and Shade field to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, monitoring budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered within financial and technical requirements. This role requires proven industry experience, technical knowledge, and the ability to work closely with clients and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to determine the full scope of work.

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, ensuring all expected expenses are properly incorporated.

Present cost proposals and estimates to clients for review, approval, and acceptance.

Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring construction activities remain within agreed financial limits.

Summarize project quantities for planning, production, and progress reporting.

Support contract administration, including variations, claims, and cost reporting.

Provide technical input and cost-related advice to project managers and senior management.

Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and site teams to resolve estimation or budget concerns.

Qualifications & Skills:

*Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).

5–7 years of proven experience in the Steel and Shade field (required).

Strong technical knowledge in cost estimation, project budgeting, and contract management.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering/estimation software.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently with attention to detail and meet tight deadlines.*
