A dynamic and growing digital assets platform is seeking a Compliance/MLRO to collaborate closely with the CBB and ensure the business operates in a sustainable and compliant manner. Backed by high-profile investors, the company maintains strong commercial relationships and serves a diverse client base across the GCC, including (U)HNWI and institutional clients.
In this role, you will work closely with senior management as the expert on compliance, AML, CTF, and related areas. You will be the primary contact for all interactions with the CBB, developing and maintaining a strong working relationship with regulators and senior management. Your responsibilities include providing expert guidance on regulatory policies and procedures, identifying and resolving issues or complaints, and staying updated on policy and regulatory changes.
To succeed, you should have a solid educational background and relevant professional experience within a financial services organization in Bahrain. A strong understanding of the regulatory environment related to digital assets and OTC products is essential, along with a desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
