Compliance Supervisor and Regulatory Affairs Specialist

The candidate will support the Head of Compliance & MLRO in developing, managing, and executing the compliance program, policies, and procedures across the group. They will oversee the regulatory compliance universe, including applicable laws and regulations in various jurisdictions. The role involves reviewing potential sanctions activity and high-risk alerts, as well as assisting in reporting, escalation, and providing assurance to senior management on compliance issues, financial crime, and other regulatory matters.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACAMS, ICA Diploma)
Experience:
- 5+ years' experience in a regulatory compliance role within payments or banking, focusing on financial crime compliance
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:
- Expertise in regulatory compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of AML/CT risks and controls
- Proficiency in report writing and office applications
- Good understanding of laws, standards, and regulatory environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills to identify and solve compliance problems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Effective conflict management skills
- Attention to detail and quality work
- Organized with good time management
- Ability to handle work pressures
