Key Roles and Responsibilities

Our team is seeking an experienced professional to assume a pivotal role in our organization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the development of plans and objectives for credit to ensure achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Supervise Credit Officers, reviewing their work and providing guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and amend credit policy documents, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the review of expected credit losses frameworks, risk acceptance documents, and target market standards.
  • Provide recommendations to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

Credit Assessment and Risk Analysis

  • Evaluate credit applications against established credit policy, risk acceptance documents, and target market standards.
  • Prepare thorough credit evaluation memos that provide actionable insights.
  • Review risk ratings to ensure accuracy and validity.

Team Management & Reporting

  • Compile periodic reports on credit reviews, adhering to credit policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise subordinate employees in credit administration, fostering a culture of excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a credit review managerial role, with delegated authority.

Proven knowledge of CBB regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Familiarity with Bahrain mortgage procedures.

Additional Key Competencies

Sufficient knowledge of credit administration functions.

Nationality: Only Bahraini nationals and expatriates currently working in the Bahraini banking sector are eligible to apply.
