As a Sous Chef, you are responsible for the smooth operation of the main/outlet kitchen, focusing on quality and presentation within the guidelines of standardized menus and employee training. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Supervising the main/outlet kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all food items according to the hotel's SOPs and standardized menu guidelines.
  2. Monitoring production standards to ensure the highest quality.
  3. Controlling the hotel's food costs.
  4. Participating in drafting concepts and menus for special events and functions, encouraging employee ideas and implementing them practically.
  5. Ensuring HACCP standards and hygiene standards are maintained as per Municipality requirements.
  6. Providing consistent on-the-job training for culinary staff and promoting health and safety practices.
