Logistics Supervisor

We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all logistics operations within our manufacturing facility in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of materials, inventory, and finished goods, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with local and logistics regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily logistics and warehouse operations including inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales departments to ensure smooth material flow and on-time delivery.
• Plan and optimize transportation routes and manage relationships with freight forwarders and transport providers.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and stock control through regular audits and system updates.
• Oversee customs clearance and import/export documentation in compliance with Bahrain regulations.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics operations.
• Monitor KPIs related to delivery performance, transport costs, and inventory accuracy.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure all safety, quality, and regulatory standards are met within logistics operations.
• Lead and train warehouse and logistics staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of international shipping, customs procedures, and local regulations in Bahrain.
• Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of lean logistics or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
