Job Advertisement: Travel & Tour Consultant

We are seeking a motivated Travel & Tour Consultant to join our team. This position requires a dynamic individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, build strong relationships, and achieve targets through exceptional sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle ticketing, hotel bookings, and travel arrangements, using Saber and other GDS ticketing systems.

Conduct outdoor sales to generate leads, establish relationships with individuals and cash customers only, and promote our travel services.

Research, negotiate, and secure the best deals for customers while maximizing profit for the business.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market offerings and trends.

Ensure all bookings and sales comply with terms and conditions to protect the business from liabilities.

Work in a non-IATA environment while leveraging IATA certification as a plus.

Manage and update records of all office transactions and handle basic office administrative tasks.

Exhibit strong attention to detail and clear communication to ensure customer satisfaction.

Demonstrate creativity, high ethics, and a strong work ethic to identify new income streams and solutions.

Proactively go out and beyond the office to generate new business and close sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with Saber and other ticketing systems.

IATA certification (preferred).

Knowledge of B2B hotel booking systems.

Ability to work under pressure and achieve assigned targets.

Professionalism and commitment to continuous improvement.

Experience in record-keeping and office admin tasks.

Based in Bahrain or willing to relocate.
