Job DescriptionBasic Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the daily status of hotel occupancy and coordinate with departments such as reservations, sales, and housekeeping to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Manage and greet guests, monitor and resolve requests.
- Perform check-in/out of guests using the Opera system.
- Welcome guests, answer inquiries, and handle incoming calls.
- Prepare occupancy and guest reports.
- Maintain group and individual arrival reports daily.
- Inform guests of hotel rates and services, and create/cancel/confirm reservations.
- Check and manage room allocation.
- Ensure compliance with key control policies and manage safe deposit boxes for guests.
- Coordinate with the concierge to assist guests with services.
- Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Evaluate credit limit reports daily and manage room availability efficiently.
Job Qualifications:
- Pleasant personality with a good appearance.
- Service- and guest-oriented.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- Experience with Opera system is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand for 8 hours daily.
- Ability to work on a shift basis.
