What the job involves
Full lead and oversight of functions which includes but is not limited to:
- Relationship Management: communicating with investors, contributing to RFPs and DDQs, maintaining central database of IR information and supporting investment teams in fundraising for new and existing vehicles
- Marketing
- Legal
- Fund operations
- Digital
- External Finance Function Oversight: oversee all aspects of the third party finance function including fund administration, budgets, end-of-year audit and performance monitoring of the portfolio companies
Who we are looking for
- Experience of being in a COO or equivalent role in an investment / asset management or financial services business
- Strong leadership qualities
- Degree educated
- Driven to add value to all aspects of the role
- The ability to leverage AI and data analytics to enhance client experience
- Very high level of attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to both work effectively within a senior team and to multi-task and determine priorities
- Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
- A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
- Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
- A track record of creating operational excellence within the context of a COO role
