The Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA) is an independent entity established under the guidance of its Board of Directors and reporting to the Cabinet. Formed as part of the National Education Reform Project in Bahrain, BQA aims to improve education and vocational training services to advance the nation's human capital. Since 2008, BQA has been undertaking quality assurance activities, setting performance standards, and conducting objective reviews of licensed institutions. It also evaluates students' learning progress through National Examinations in core subjects and problem-solving.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior National Examinations Specialist located in Manama. The Senior National Examinations Specialist will be responsible for developing and overseeing the administration of national examinations, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the examination process. The role involves analyzing performance data, preparing reports, collaborating with educators to set exam standards, and providing feedback for continuous improvement. The Senior National Examinations Specialist will also ensure compliance with established quality assurance standards and best practices in educational assessments.

Qualifications

  • Experience in exam development, educational assessments, and performance analysis
  • Proficiency in data analysis, report preparation, and feedback generation
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators and stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of quality assurance standards and best practices in education
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Assessment
  • Experience working in a similar educational environment is a plus
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic is advantageous
