We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Investments Associate to join our investment team. This role is pivotal in guiding our portfolio companies from sourcing to successful exits, ensuring meticulous evaluation and performance monitoring throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in sourcing, screening, and preliminary evaluation of potential investment opportunities both locally and internationally, supporting the KPIs set by Management.
  2. Conduct detailed financial analysis, research, and due diligence on prospective companies, including valuation exercises and risk assessments under the guidance of the Investment Manager.
  3. Support the preparation of investment proposals, reports, and presentations to the Investment Committee, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  4. Track and update the investment pipeline, ensuring timely progress of deals from sourcing to final proposal.
  5. Support the identification and initial assessment of franchise and agency partnership opportunities.
  6. Assist in investor outreach efforts, including research on potential investors, maintaining relationships, and supporting referral fee activities.
  7. Monitor the performance of portfolio investments post-acquisition, including preparing regular reports and performance tracking.
  8. Coordinate the due diligence exercise and approval process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in venture capital, private equity, or a similar investment environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of successful investment evaluations and strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and market analysis.
