Role Purpose

The role is within the hospitality and Food & Beverage (F&B) sector.

The Operations Director will lead the transformation of the company from an unstructured setup into a professional, scalable, and well-organized business. This includeshiring key personnel, creating departments, and setting up systems from the ground up, whilemanaging and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations throughout the transition period.

Key Responsibilities1. Build & Structure the Company

  • Develop a completeorganizational chartwith clear reporting lines.
  • Create core departments (Operations, Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, etc.) from scratch.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train all department heads and key staff.
  • Define departmental roles, responsibilities, and workflows.

2. Develop SOPs & Processes

  • Identify all recurring tasks and operational needs across the business.
  • Create detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process flowcharts.
  • Ensure all staff are trained and compliant with documented procedures.

3. Oversee Daily Operations During Transformation

  • Manage day-to-day business operations to avoid disruption during the restructuring phase.
  • Monitor performance and resolve operational issues quickly.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, service quality, and productivity targets are met.

4. Performance Management & Accountability

  • EstablishKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)for departments and individuals.
  • Set up reporting templates and dashboards.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with department heads.

5. Systems & Tools Implementation

  • Recommend and set up business systems (ERP, CRM, HR software, etc.).
  • Establish a structured filing and documentation system.

6. Culture & Communication

  • Introduce corporate values, professional work culture, and effective communication channels.
  • Implement regular meeting structures for updates, accountability, and planning.

Candidate ProfileExperience & Skills

  • 5–7 yearsin operations or business management roles, preferably in SMEs or fast-growth environments.
  • Proven track record ofbuilding teams, setting up departments, and implementing systems.
  • Strong leadership, hiring, and people management skills.
  • Solid understanding of process improvement, budgeting, and organizational efficiency.
