POSITION:SPECIALIST QAQC – MECHANICAL

Join our team as a Specialist QA/QC – Mechanical, where you will lead quality assurance and quality control efforts across complex mechanical engineering projects in heavy industrial environments. With a focus on aluminium smelters, you will ensure technical excellence and full compliance with international standards throughout the project lifecycle.

In this senior role, you will apply your extensive engineering expertise to develop and enforce rigorous QA/QC frameworks, drive continuous improvement, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce QA/QC systems throughout project lifecycles.
  • Ensure compliance with international codes and standards.
  • Oversee inspections, documentation, and commissioning activities.
  • Lead QA/QC efforts on cast house projects, including casting lines, cooling systems, and molten metal handling.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to resolve issues, optimize designs, and manage quality performance.
  • Support contract administration and invoicing processes.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory); Project Management certification is a plus.
  • 20+ years of experience in heavy industrial engineering.
  • Extensive experience with aluminium smelter cast house operations.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills.
