Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an HR Onboarding Specialist located in the Capital Governorate, Bahrain. The HR Onboarding Specialist serves as the primary point of contact and trusted resource for candidates, hiring managers, and internal HR and business stakeholders. This role is instrumental in delivering a world-class onboarding experience by ensuring the smooth, timely, and accurate execution of all onboarding activities. The specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end onboarding workflows, ensuring each new hire is effectively integrated into the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all new hires throughout the onboarding process.
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, medical screenings, and documentation.
- Prepare and distribute onboarding materials such as welcome packets, orientation schedules, and employee handbooks.
- Ensure all employee records, contracts, and forms are completed, verified, and stored in compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Collaborate with IT, facilities, payroll, and other departments to ensure readiness of equipment, system access, and workspace.
- Schedule and facilitate new hire orientation sessions.
- Provide continuous support and guidance to hiring managers regarding onboarding best practices.
- Track and report onboarding metrics to ensure efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and improve processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
- Contribute to HR projects aimed at enhancing the employee experience and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in HR Middle East, preferably with a focus on onboarding or talent acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and onboarding compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service mindset.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Ability to work well with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing business needs.
- Experience in the EPC industry is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language proficiency (e.g., Arabic) is an advantage.
