Job Title: Roads Engineer - Bahrain

Parsons is seeking a talented Roads Engineer to join our team

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Report to the Resident Engineer and assist in supervising the construction of road works.
  • Coordinate activities with other engineers and the construction supervision team.
  • Assist in reviewing shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, and related correspondence.
  • Coordinate with Parsons' design engineers to resolve related issues.
  • Maintain daily diaries and reports by inspectors.
  • Coordinate with contractor engineers on scheduling and resource application.
  • Direct and monitor inspectors and surveyors' performance.
  • Ensure records are accurate and complete.
  • Oversee safety procedures to achieve safety goals on the project.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Participate in health and safety issues at the site as required.
  • Provide on-site direction and assist in issuing site instructions regarding road works.
  • Check, measure, and record work performed; assist in displaying progress vs. schedule.
  • Ensure accuracy of 'as-built' drawings.
  • Coordinate with Materials Engineer on material submissions and laboratory reports.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as appropriate.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in road projects, preferably in Bahrain and GCC countries.
  • Proficiency in CAD and engineering software packages.
