Fives Services Gulf is the Fives service centre for the Middle East. With a team of 150 people based in Bahrain, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia, Fives Services Gulf provides local customer service, project execution support, local parts sourcing, refit and modernization projects, audits, and technical assistance on customer sites. A team is also dedicated to maintaining equipment in operation at our customers' plants.

It is with you that industry can do it We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager who shares this desire.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

1. Identify and develop new and existing business opportunities, including partnerships; manage major accounts; conduct negotiations with clients to meet growth/sales objectives; and enhance revenue and market share.
2. Contribute to the development of local/regional marketing and business development strategies and sales plans to grow business for assigned products and services across the region.
3. Gather market intelligence by conducting customer research, analyzing market conditions, competitor data, and recommend changes to sales approaches to meet objectives.
4. Build and maintain good relationships with clients to strengthen Fives' sales base, including regular client meetings to identify and deliver on customer requirements.
5. Lead sales and business development activities by identifying customer requirements and providing information on Fives products and services.
6. Act as the main contact for assigned customers for all sales and after-sales matters, including responding to inquiries, requests, quotations, RFQ/RFPs.
7. Advise on pricing strategies to secure new business opportunities and generate revenue.
8. Manage bidding requirements, prepare technical and commercial submissions in line with company policies.
9. Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell projects, products, and services to gain a market edge.
10. Lead contract negotiations on commercial and technical matters within responsibility.
11. Support sales exhibitions, events, client meetings, and presentations to showcase Fives' offerings.
12. Ensure all sales leads and client data are recorded and maintained in the CRM system.
13. Conduct feasibility studies for business development and partnership opportunities, including market entry strategies and financial evaluations.
14. Manage assigned customers, respond to concerns professionally, and escalate issues as necessary.
15. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HSEQ requirements.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
• 3 to 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant sales experience.
