Job Title: IT Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of domain experience in the banking industry to oversee and manage medium to large-scale IT projects. The role involves end-to-end project management across internal banking systems and external vendor engagements, with a strong emphasis on governance, planning, compliance, and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple IT projects related to internal banking systems and external third-party/vendor solutions.
  • Work closely with business units, IT teams, and vendors to define project scopes, goals, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Implement effective project governance frameworks to ensure alignment with organizational standards and policies.
  • Coordinate project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management activities.
  • Drive execution of business requirements, technology solutions, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements.
  • Track progress using project management tools and provide timely status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Manage change requests, issue resolution, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare documentation for regulatory audits, business continuity planning, and internal process reviews.
  • Promote and implement best practices in IT project delivery, change control, and system integration.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • PMP Certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing IT projects within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of internal banking systems, regulatory frameworks, and compliance processes.
  • Proven experience in vendor coordination, contract negotiation, and SLA management.
  • Excellent skills in project planning, risk analysis, budgeting, and quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance, process optimization, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
