Lead Functional Domain Specialist

This role offers an opportunity to apply your domain knowledge, skills, and experience to work in the Customer Success Services (CSS) team with Oracle SaaS/PaaS products. You will be involved in maintaining and supporting customers' eBusiness Suite applications and Fusion SaaS, either on-site or remotely, implementing and managing PaaS solutions such as Oracle Integration Cloud/SOA and integrating with Oracle SaaS products. Responsibilities include developing, integrating, and implementing application components, including front-end development, internal database integration, and OTBI Reports. The role also involves programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation, and administration of Oracle Cloud applications. The financials domain specialist ensures solution architecture feasibility and risk mitigation by leveraging a network of subject matter experts across domains. The FIN Architect/domain specialist should propose customer roadmaps to realize proposed solutions. We seek an experienced FIN domain specialist with a focus on functional FIN process architecture and solution architecture across all FIN disciplines. Broader Oracle ERP knowledge is desirable.

1. Lead and participate as a Functional leader/Advisor in various service streams such as Gap Analysis, Solution design, POCs, Demonstrations, requirements gathering, business analysis, project delivery, Quality assurance with Oracle teams onsite or offshore.
2. Document and review Requirement Specifications Documents.
3. Analyze business requirements, participate in functional design, and document/review Functional Specification documents.
4. Travel as needed to client locations within and outside MEA for implementations, product walkthroughs, and POC workshops.
5. Coordinate with onsite teams and client personnel during implementations to ensure success.
6. Use defined standards, tools, and processes to deliver quality work.
7. Document all work according to standards and processes.
8. Follow Change Control Processes and align with audit and compliance requirements.
9. Perform knowledge transfer and handover at the end of each assignment.
10. Provide timely status reports and submit timesheets.

• Experience in Oracle Fusion modules such as GL, AR, Payables, and other financial modules.
• 10+ years in Oracle applications, SaaS, and PaaS solutions, with at least 6+ years in SaaS implementations, including proven industry experience in FIN solutions.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Detailed functional knowledge of Oracle SaaS, with experience in at least one industry.
• Ability to collaborate with client business teams independently.
• Skills in analyzing solutions, estimating, managing risks, and providing recommendations.
• Understanding of client requirements and mapping to product features.
• Leadership in project meetings and workshops.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Knowledge of industry terminologies, concepts, and processes.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic is strongly recommended.
• Experience in Oracle SaaS implementation/support.
• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel and work offshore, in shifts, and pursue certifications as needed.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of multiple industries is a plus.
• Knowledge of FMW/PaaS development tools is a plus.

• Basic SQL, report writing, workflow/dashboard creation skills.
• Exposure to software development, testing tools, and practices.
