We are expanding our operations into Europe and the GCC, offering an exciting opportunity for an IT professional to make a meaningful impact in redefining Islamic banking and fintech solutions globally.

Job Overview

The Chief IT Visionary will lead cross-functional project teams and formulate effective IT governance frameworks, driving improvement and efficiency across multiple business units.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Drive Improvement of IT Governance Frameworks: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance overall efficiency and service delivery by streamlining processes and optimizing resources.
  2. Oversee Risk/Compliance Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and manage risk effectively, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  3. Collaborate on Data Governance Frameworks: Work closely with team members to establish and maintain robust data governance policies, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the organization.
  4. Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Develop and implement strategies to meet required quality and strategic standards for Requests for Proposal (RFPs), maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and expectations.
  5. Manage IT Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Initiatives: Serve as the single point of contact for ESG initiatives within the organization, promoting sustainable practices and responsible growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field; Master's highly preferred for advanced knowledge and expertise.
  • Minimum 15 years operational experience working in IT, with at least 5 years experience in IT leadership positions managing cross-functional project teams and driving business growth.
  • Extensive exposure to IT governance formulation, budget planning, and organizational change management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence senior internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and driving collaboration.
