Job Title: Production Superintendent

Job Description:

The Production Superintendent ensures the efficient and high-quality fabrication of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, skids, and structural components for final field assembly. This role oversees all production activities in a heavy or medium fabrication shop, ensuring compliance with project requirements, HSE standards, and quality assurance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain continuous communication with project teams to understand and align with fabrication requirements.
• Supervise and assign tasks to fabrication teams based on skill levels and project scope.
• Lead safety and progress meetings, ensuring awareness of project updates and HSE practices.
• Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely availability of supplies and tools.
• Oversee on-site installations in collaboration with internal departments and external contractors.
• Provide hands-on training and mentoring to staff for skill enhancement and safety compliance.
• Monitor and maintain all production equipment to ensure operational safety and reliability.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of reports including timecards, material usage, and change orders.
• Enforce adherence to company HSE, QA/QC, and fabrication standards at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma required; Associate's degree in a skilled trade preferred.
• Minimum 10 years' experience as a fabricator or production supervisor in a heavy or medium fabrication environment.
• Proven experience with coded pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, skid-mounted equipment, and structural components.
• Proficient in interpreting fabrication drawings, including isometric and orthographic projections.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
