The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the implementation of a TRACCS office's finance strategy and operations within a single office.

The Senior Accountant's responsibilities include:

  • Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payables and receivables
  • Producing error-free accounting reports and presenting their results
  • Analyzing finance information and summarizing finance status
  • Spotting errors and suggesting ways to improve efficiency and spending
  • Reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Managing accounting assistants and bookkeepers
  • Participating in finance standards setting and forecasting
  • Preparing finance statements and producing budget according to schedule
  • Directing internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Planning, assigning, and reviewing staff's work
  • Supporting with month-end and year-end closing

Experience and Skills Required

The Senior Accountant should have:

  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting
  • At least 3 years of experience as an accountant with reputable companies
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles and accounting software applications
  • Knowledge of the local finance regulatory landscape
