**Job Summary:**

This position is responsible for executing daily operations and monitoring security events, alerts, and incidents.

The successful candidate will identify, categorize, prioritize, and triage incidents using various log and intelligence sources. They will also perform initial investigations, escalate or close incidents as necessary, and maintain shift logs with relevant activity.

Additionally, the SOC Analyst will document investigation results, interact with other security and network groups, and manage event and information intake.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security events, alerts, and incidents
  • Rapidly identify, categorize, prioritize, and triage incidents
  • Perform initial investigation and escalation/closure of incidents
  • Maintain SOC shift logs with relevant activity
  • Document investigation results and pass on to Senior Analysts
  • Manage SOC event and information intake

Required Skills:

  • Splunk
  • Microsoft Sentinel
  • IBM QRADAR Log Rhythm

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required. This role will work in shift hours and requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
