Main Role: To uplift the quality of teaching and learning in the school. Responsibilities: Liaise with teachers for all grades in all 3 branches to ensure the same pace. Develop and implement policies, programs, and curriculum activities that promote the educational development of students. Provide support and professional development for staff members as needed. Supervise teachers' performance, directly and/or indirectly. Conceptualize the broad goals of the school and plan accordingly to ensure that procedures and schedules are implemented to carry out the total school program. Enhance personnel skills by providing activities that facilitate the professional growth of the school staff and improve the quality of the instructional program. Evaluate student progress in the instructional program by maintaining and analyzing up-to-date student data. Facilitate organizational efficiency by maintaining inter-school system communication and seeking assistance from central office staff to improve performance. Orient and assist new staff and new students, providing opportunities for their input in the school program. Monitor the quality of teaching and learning in the school. Conduct teacher appraisals and observations. Analyze student data and track student and academic performance. Create and track remedies for low achievers. Create and track remedies for high achievers (Honor Roll). Supervise Heads of Departments (HODs). Follow up on lesson plan submissions. Ensure that all teachers have the necessary resources and training to teach. Monitor all teachers regarding their teaching conduct and strategies. Liaise with the examination officer regarding external board exams. Play a role in the teaching of the programs and in the formative and summative assessment of participants' work. Ensure appropriate benchmarking of programs through roles such as external examiner and course reviewer, and by leading, developing, and participating in local and national networks. Represent the school in external events and professional associations. Investigate and follow up on any complaints regarding teachers. Work closely with school administration and teachers to raise school standards and ensure high-quality teaching. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the administration. Specific Qualifications Required for This Role: Teaching Credential/License
